Peony Shipping & Handling
This page will offer useful information on how we ship and handle
your beautiful peonies from field to the comfort of your own home.

Our farm will be able to direct ship peonies straight to your door! However local pickup is always an option too. Please keep in mind that daily rates change with FedEx depending on which day is selected. All Peony Bundles, Bouquets, and CSA’s will shipped out on Monday or Tuesdays and arrive FedEx overnight. When necessary I do ship AK AirCargo as well. Shipping costs will be invoiced and emailed separately in some cases. We are able to ship peonies within the United States only at this time. If you desire our beautiful blooms outside of the US, please shoot us an email at the following email: alaskatraditionalpreservation@gmail.com and we’ll try our best to see how and if we can accommodate you through our shipping options that are available to us in Alaska.
The prices below are for all peonies shipped from our farm whether that is CSA, Bouquets, or Wholesale. That means if you claimed a Peony CSA Subscription for 2 week and 4 week, your shipping and packaging prices may be found below. Please view the prices below for each size box we offer when needing to ship peonies direct to you!
FedEx Overnight Shipping and Packaging Costs:
Small Box holds 20-50 stems roughly with packaging weighs about 12lbs is $30.
Medium Box holds 70-100 stems roughly with packaging weighs about 20lbs is $50.
Large Box holds 100-200 stems roughly with packaging weighs about 27lbs is $80.
XL/Wholesale Box Holds orders up to 400 stems roughly with packaging weighs about 45-50lbs is $110.
Alaska Air Cargo Shipping Costs:
Will be billed seperately through a Square invoice with a tracking airway number and shipping information emailed straight to you.
A Few Helpful Notes:
These prices include: shipping box, packing materials, cold packs, handling and prep, labels stickers.
Orders typically ship early in the week Monday or Tuesday to ensure weekly travel.
Local Pickup on the farm is always free and encouraged to see where your flowers come from.
Flat box pricing keeps costs more consistent and easy to understand. We had to greatly adjust how to operate as this is our 2nd season in 2026 and we’re excited to adjust along the way for both sides to enjoy the peonies!
Larger orders ship more efficiently per stem.
We do our best to pack each box with the same care we would use for flowers headed to our own kitchen table.
